DAY 1 - USA-BEIJING: |
Board your trans-pacific flight to China |
DAY 2 - ARRIVE BEIJING: |
Meet at airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Hotel: Crowne Plaza (5*) or similar category hotel |
DAY 3 - BEIJING (B/L/D): |
After breakfast, motorcoach transfer to Olympic Village. Visit the outside of the main Olympic Stadium- known as the Bird Nest and the Water Cube. Then visit the Forbidden City, the palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors. Next proceed to Tian’An Men Square, followed by a visit to the beautiful National Center of Performing Arts, often referred to as “Pearl in the Lake.” |
DAY 4 - BEIJING (B/L/D): |
Morning tour of the Great Wall, the only man-made structure on earth that can be observed by the naked eye from outer space. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for an abundant harvest. Tonight enjoy an Acrobatic Show after a Peking Duck banquet. |
DAY 5 - BEIJING-SHANGHAI-WUXIAN-SUZHOU(B/D): |
Morning flight to Shanghai, the largest city in China. Upon arrival, motorcoach transfer to Wuxian to visit the Taihu Lake and the Liyuan Park. Continue onward to arrive in Suzhou, the garden city of China. Hotel: Aster Suzhou (4*) or similar category hotel |
DAY 6 - SUZHOU-HANGZHOU (B/L/D): |
Morning visit to the Hanshan Temple, followed by visits to the famous Liu Garden and the Silk Research Institute. Afternoon transfer by bus to Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China. Upon arrival, tour the Qinghe Ancient Street. Hotel: Braim International (4*) or similar category hotel |
DAY 7 - HANGZHOU-SHANGHAI (B/L/D): |
Morning tour of the famous and beautiful West Lake. Cruise along the lake to view the Three Pools mirroring the moon. Continue to visit the Dragon Well Tea House for their renowned tea. Afternoon return to Shanghai to visit the Bund. Hotel: Howard Johnson Caida Plaza (5*) or similar hotel category |
DAY 8 - SHANGHAI-USA (B): |
Transfer to airport for homeward bound flight. |
